People who claim to be "conservative" are really obsessed with the SCENERY of what passes for Patriotism- The Flag, the Anthem, the aesthetics. They focus on the veneer, the exterior the window-dressing. All sizzle, no steak, in my opinion.
Imagine being such a pussy that you stopped watching something you enjoy because people linked arms for 30 seconds. There is no bigger group of snowflakes than conservative white men. Always looking for something to be outraged and aggrieved by.
