Question for all the Liberals?

Christians have a neat way of dealing with this. They simply claim that person isn't really a Christian.

As if Hitler; a baptized, confirmed, Christian who in his writings and speeches claimed to be doing the work of God, surrounded by priests, bishops and cardinals and never admonished by the church, wasn't really a Christian.
You are truly delusional!!

Riiiiiiiggggghhhhhttttt

One third hand undocumented account of Hitler saying he didn't like the church outweighs hundreds upon hundreds of examples of his Christianity.

Thanks for proving my point. Even in this thread there is an example of someone trying to claim Catholics aren't Christian.

Sorry but Hitler was a Christian and ISIS is Islamic. Neither reprents all of their religion. There are many great Christians as are there many great Muslims. There are also racists southerners (and Northerners) who display the flag in my avatar, and they don't represent me, or most Southerners. I'm not going to try and say some of them aren't Southern though.

Welcome to my ignore list. Hitler a Christian? His deeds say otherwise.

I would argue that Hitler doesn't represent Christianity. But I would argue that the Catholic religion does. It's straight up moronic that Jan thinks Catholics are not part of Christianity.

I would never claim Hitler represents Christianity. I only state that he was a Christian. The Catholic Church does represent Christianity to most of the world, but I have been to hard core Christian sects that are so different, I can understand how they don't see it that way. Nonetheless Christians have a habit of saying other Christians aren't part of their religion. Take Mormons for instance. Many Christians try to say they aren't Christian, but they are. It's a big religion, just like Islam, or Hindu. There are lots of flavors.

BTW, I was an alter boy. I'm pretty sure I was never molested though. I remember as a small child hearing the bells ring as the pastor blessed communion. At first I thought it was magic, then I noticed the boy ringing them. When I got to ring them, I thought it was awesome. My people (Cajuns) migrated to a swamp to be able to worship our God our way.

I get the power of religion and how men can use it to manipulate people. Eventually the faith instilled in me from birth gave way to skepticism and logic. The pressure didn't stop though. I didn't tell my mother straight out that I am an atheist until I was about 33. She still holds out hope that I will return to God.

I have spent time with many Muslims, Hindi, and of course Christians. I've seen the good and bad from all of them. In the end, people are people. Some are good and some, not as much. Those who aren't good, in my opinion, have lost their faith in people more so than a god. Most are natural followers. This has been scientifically proven many times, from simple market research to more extreme studies such as Milgram. Religion was a pretty easy way to control and govern people. I think it will eventually die out as far as the mythical parts. Men (humans) are men though. Political parties and groups are becoming the new religion in many cases.

Free thinkers will always (absent a extinction threatening event) be a small minority and ostracized. People are naturally opposed to those that go against the pack.

this is right: commies cannot be christians

So oit can sit back and observe so-called righties like bush and perry, who are liberal commies-open the floodgates for the commie latinos, the brotherhood

Then the liberal leftists want to open up the communism to the syrians, bau, we're all commies now
