Only time I saw the prosecution do poorly was during the brother’s cross examination. Georgia Cappleman is delivering a solid closing argument tying the all of the pieces together.
I’m looking forward to the mother’s trial. That woman is evil. This murder doesn’t happen without her involvement.

Court video feed crashed. Tim Jansen is praising Cappleman’s closing arguments. Called it “powerful.” He said her only difficulty is that it is lengthy, well over an hour, to tie the many many details together.

Hour and 45 minutes for the defense attorney. Tim Jansen just hammered him. Said that “he doesn’t know when to quit.” Said he lost the jury an hour ago.
Alternate jurors were just released. The one juror, who all the court watchers commented was openly pro-defendant, was an alternate.
Court watchers all seem to think the mother is next. Tim Jansen said on Friday that he thought both the mother and the brother would be tried together if this trial ends with a hung jury.
Comments from court watchers in the gallery said that the jurors we bored with the defense attorney’s closing argument, arms folded, grimacing, cleaning their glasses and in general bad body language.
Tim Jansen just said they don’t have enough to charge Wendi Adelson.

There is another Adelson brother, a doctor, who has no longer has anything to do with the family. The mother was instrumental in breaking up his engagement to an Indian-American doctor. He then married a Jewish woman who he later divorced. He later married the Indian-American doctor and they have several children.
Wow. Talk about an overbearing parent. She sounds awful.
For those who aren’t aware Georgia Cappleman is the daughter of former FSU Quarterback Bill Cappleman.
Awesome. Justice for a man who by all accounts was a well liked and respected member of the Law Faculty.
