In 1968, in back-to-back games of a series in SF, Gaylord Perry pitched a no-hitter in beating the St. Louis Cardinals and Gob Gibson 1-0 one day, and the following day, Ray Washburn of the Cardinals pitched a no-hitter and beat the Giants 2-0. It is the only time in MLB history that no-hitters were pitched in the same ballpark on consecutive days.
