Did Clown U really have a shot to land Reece?
Reece Vander Dunk
Keep him where he’s at!Agree. RV (should be his nickname) will end up as a TE or DL, either will get him to the next level.
Phil Parker can’t wait for Kirk to get back to convince him Reese should move to be a defense back.
Reece Vander Sizzle
Play him on both sides of the ball....Isn't this what we expected from our stud last year??Phil Parker can’t wait for Kirk to get back to convince him Reese should move to be a defense back.
It looks like they got him on campus for an OV 2 weeks before his OV @ Iowa. Slim shot? Recruiting "politeness"?Did Clown U really have a shot to land Reece?
Wow. What do you suppose the chances are that he thought he would be doing the after game star interview, week one? Crazy.....

They will this year, his frame can handle a few more lbs to become a TEKeep him where he’s at!
I don’t think you’re allowed to do that.Former HS QB. Will we see an exotic drawn up where he catches it behind line of scrimmage and throws it downfield?
See, I didn't think it was that great of a throw. He under threw him and Gill made a great adjustment and a pretty good catch. You could tell Cade was rusty and was hesitant to step into any throw for most of the day. I thought he kept falling back and throwing off his back foot, especially in the first half. Tough to fault him with how much time has missed, but hopefully the rust wears off quickly.I get all the love for Reese and he is going to be really good, but I thought the most impressive td was the dime Cade threw to Gill. Basically double coverage and yet they looked like they were really on the same page with that play. All in all, I am with KF on this, I have optimism for the wr room.
Agreed, that pass kind of floated. It should've had more zip and led him more away from the DB's.See, I didn't think it was that great of a throw. Not trying to start an argument, but I didn't think it was that great of a throw. Either way, touchdown Hawkeyes and hope to see many more, to whoever!
