KF looks like a 90-year-old on the sideline when his counterpart on the opposite sideline is young and full of energy. The fact that he looks like he doesn’t know where he is at times doesn’t help.

This is the last season that Iowa MiGHT finish in the upper division (due to soft schedule) of the B1G under the current regime. The longer that Grandpa Kirk is allowed to hang around, the longer we’ll be looking up at teams like Indiana, Illinois, Michigan State, Wisconsin, etc.

Edit to add that we’ll never beat or be ranked as high as Iowa State, either.

Guys like Saban and even Paterno realized several years ago that offense needed to be pass oriented and aggressive in order to continue to compete. Our coach keeps bringing up 1980’s as if it was just a few years ago. Time for new blood who realizes you can’t win championships with no offense.
