RFK: "FDA's war on public health is about to end"

So natural…what is this “problem” you and Kennedy are so concerned about? Is there a plague somewhere I am not aware of? Advise me, please…
1 in every 6 or 7 Americans currently with an autoimmune disorder…with an annual 3-12% increase.

Nope. No problem there.

It totally is.

Though the advice offered by the FDA ethics officials is perfectly legal under current regulations, it may be seen as an ethically murky practice, especially since countless agency staffers go on to work at the drugmakers and other companies they previously regulated—including every FDA commissioner since 2000, per the BMJ.
Your claim was the FDA does nothing to protect the public. That’s simply not true.

People don't want to hear this bc its likely what they're consuming and what they're feeding their kids and it makes them feel guilty. But it's literal poison. The human body isn't meant to consume these things. And the federal Food and Drug Administration, whose job it is to regulate and protect us from this, knows it.
But, but, but....freedom!

My claim is not only do they ‘do nothing’ to protect the public, but they are guilty as an accessory in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people.

Innocent, gullible people.

Dr. David Graham, the Associate Director for Science and Medicine in FDA’s Office of Drug Safety, testified in 2004 before the Senate Finance Committee that the FDA's failure to recall Vioxx earlier had resulted in as many as 55,000 premature deaths from heart attacks and stroke, calling it the equivalent of allowing "two to four jumbo jetliners" to crash every week for five years. Even years after discontinuing use of the drug, patients who have taken Vioxx continue to experience complications.

You do know they regulate more than pharmaceuticals?

Oh, you mean like food-borne illnesses? Once again proving how useless these bureaucracies are.

We replaced infectious disease with chronic disease. It's hidden in plain sight. The trouble is, the science wasn't designed to indicate just how bad it is.

We need more pseudoscientists in the health sector. Pseudoscientific research has been making significant strides. It's time we reap the benefits.

You did t answer my question.

Proper safety tests are used, and there is little hesitancy outside of the nutcases. That social media provides nutcases a great platform to capture the naive is the problem; not a lack of safety.
Here, talk to the boss.

Good talk.

It would be shocking for Trump to make a false promise just to pick up votes from RFK fanboys.

The guy is so trustworthy and honest usually.

I'm all for more research to be done to prove that food additives are bad for our health and increase regulations handed out by the FDA. If Trump makes moves toward that end I will be shocked

Explain how your ‘point’ is more important, and should actually be the focus of reform.
He said the FDA has done absolutely nothing to protect Americans.

False.

Is the agency perfect? No way. Is the revolving door an issue for all of government? Sure. His statement is still false.

Idiocracy
I've come to my peace about the election. Trump and MAGA were going to have to be totally discredited for this insanity to end.

He'll go down as a Hoover or George W Bush or Jimmy Carter. The Republican party will still be trying to get the stench of him off themselves decades from now.

Bags gonna be packin. If you aren't happy about this YOU are part of the problem.
This is awesome 🙂

(CBS DETROIT) - A federal jury awarded a $13 million verdict to a former Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan employee who says she was wrongfully terminated for refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine due to her religion.

Lisa Domski filed a lawsuit in August 2023 through the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Michigan Southern Division, alleging that the health system fired her after she refused to get the vaccine due to religion.

Attorney John Marko says Domski is a devout Catholic and applied for a religious exemption to the vaccine. Marko says Domski, who worked for the health system for nearly 38 years, provided a written statement explaining her beliefs and the name and contact information of her priest.

Marko alleges that Blue Cross Blue Shield failed to contact her priest and told Domski that she could use her written statement. He says the health system instead denied her accommodation and told her she would be fired if she didn't get the vaccine. Domaski refused and was terminated, he says.

Marko says Domaski was awarded $13 million — $10 million in punitive damages, $1.3 million in front pay, $1 million for pain and suffering, and $315,000 in back pay.

What's corrupt though?
Pharmaceutical companies stopping supplement companies from selling nmn, claiming they are looking at it as research drug. There is an injunction that is allowing it to be sold still, but it will be illegal shortly. This isn’t the only time when this has happened, the big drug companies will get peptides banned as well

Yes you're right, I'm a little more hopeful this time around.

ABC was reporting last night that one of the big Trump donors was not happy about RFK. Probably has money tied up in it. We'll see I guess. Trump did say in his speech last night that RFK had free rein over everything but the oil. 😊
RFK has no authority at this point. All he has is an opinion.
Are there really people out there who still think that any utterance from a Kennedy has power?
