Looks like I’m cueing up The Last Waltz tonight.

Don’t know if it’s Scorsese’s best (and an excellent topic for another thread), but it is an excellent piece of film making with some of the best music ever made.

Rats. I met up with a guy in Tally way back who was a roadie with the Band. Solid dude who had nothing but praise for all involved. He singled out the talent that Robbie embodied.
Those guys are aging out. I respect the talent and ground breaking efforts they displayed.

There was a recent documentary called Rumble that featured some of Robertson's career,.. The whole thing was about ground breaking rock artists of Indian ancestry,.. really good.
