Does Iowa RPI go up since we beat Michigan? Or stay sane since we lost to Nebraska. But 5-8 vs top 50 is a great record! Especially for a 71 RPI team.
Hopefully Michigan beats Ilinois and Iowa beats Indiana so that Illinois is out of the picture. Because I think the committee will only take 8 B10 teams at most.

Although the committee says that they don't care about how many teams from a conference, it would help Iowa for Michigan to take out Illini. It would also help if K-State dropped its first game at the B12 tournament.

Illinois losing at Rutgers was actually a very big deal. Illinois would have got a further RPI bump by winning a road game. Thank you B1G for replay that gave the ball to Rutgers for the final possession.

2 wins vs the top 25 is better than most (all?) of the commonly listed last 4 in / last four out teams, I believe. Indiana is effectively our play in game, I hope..

Iowa state is now ranked so 3 now. But unless all the bubble team lose first game which NEVER happens Iowa needs 2 or 3 wins. Unfortunately Indiana RPI is average 9 spots ahead of us, if we win our RPI would be like 66 so we would need a win against Wisconsin, done it once in Kohl!! Can do it again on a neutral court.

But that Indiana game is going to be tough to win I bet vegas has us as a underdog.

2 gets us in depending on if Maryland is upset or not in it's first game and we get just a little help from a KSU loss, Rhode Island, Illinois, the committee isn't impressed with Illinois State resume, etc. Xavier first round loss would be nice too

Yeah also depending on what the other teams do too that we beat. Hopefully north dacota who got first in regular season sneaks in the top 150 and wins the sun belt tournament, Iowa state I'm rooting for.
It looks like though we gotta get to 65 atleast. 57 RPi and 21-14 record I'm sure we are in.

And maybe some help with the teams we beat, Michigan over Illinois too so we can count out Illinois, also keep Michigan a good win.Watch the sec tournament, a lot of bubble teams in that conferance.
Usually one of these bubble teams win their conferance tournament it seems, some teams play great with their backs against the wall too.Gave a feeling this Iowa team does due to they knew one more loss and they had to win the BTT.

Once Wednesday hits in sure someone will post a list of 8-10 teams to watch for. I really hope Syracuse losses their first game with a 81 RPI I don't care what Joey brackets says their in the play in game right now or out, not sitting pretty with a 10 seed. They don't have the stupid excuse last year that boeheim didn't coach 9 games.

Think how good Nebraska could have been with white who was Syracuse best player, Nebraska needed a 3rd scorer all year and had a really good player in morrow but he just isn't a scorer does everything else well.also injured half the year. I think there should be a rule you can only play up to 2 teams in college. White played for Kansas,Nebraska,Syracuse.

Bubble teams I can think of Kansas state, Vandy,Houston,Marquette, Georgia, Illinois. There's 6 or so more but I'll look them up near tourney time. We are first 4 out though in bracketology.
