I have never heard one of his athletes say that . Obviously people will hate and say what they want and most haven't had direct contact with him . The story from Ames I have heard but haven't confirmed it with anyone. It's just not a word you typically hear associated with Cael in a negative way

I didn't suggest anything other than that it's still very early in the season. Also, more generally speaking, there are going to be come talented guys on the bench. Can't expect all of them will be content to sit.

What difference does it make other than to point out a flawed plan? Did psu wait until a month into the season to figure out who'd be at 2 key weights then have someone bump up a 10 lb weight class mid season? Sorry but until we start seeing the team everyone is chasing do stuff like this I'll have a problem with it.

There’s plenty of digs you can take at Rutgers but an empty arena is not one of them.
Well it is fair to say it’s a possibility, isn’t it? But I certainly don’t know one way or the other. But he’s wrestled in 3 of the 4 duals and done well, and it’s early. He’s getting his shot.

Bakersfield isn't drawing anywhere close to 14,000 or either is Rutgers. Rutgers average attendance for the last few years is between 4,000 and 5,000. Not bad, but not like the Hawks, who lead the country by far every year. So I'm not sure who he was inferring with the 14000 number.

Kennedy-Brands-Ferrari-Arnold. These guys are all fairly close.
And if the family did share that belief I don’t think they’re the type to blast it on social media to further stir the pot.

As a more casual fan, I see a big gap between Kennedy and Brands. Brands might take a couple shots the first 5 minutes otherwise he will lock and tie whereas PK is an attack minded machine from the handshake JMO.

You’re not entirely wrong. I don’t think Brands would have gotten the TF against ISU. But I have more faith in Brands making the podium than PK, simply because he’s done it before.

I'm telling you fellas, I didn't like what I saw in person at Bellarmine. That 184 pounder had that long solid body many of you have mentioned as a potential Kryptonite and Gabe didn't have much of an answer for it. What I saw shocked the piss out of me, though I know it was still very early, and made me think what others have already said. I'd love to see them all pick their ideal weight for SS, and may the best two men win...and be our reps at 174 and 184, respectively.
