That’s terrible to hear of a loss at such a young age.

On a positive, Mack Brown lost again yesterday, coming back from 10 down to tie GA Tech late in the game, only to give up a 68 yard touchdown run with 16 seconds vs GA Tech. Guy can’t lose enough for me.

How does one get lung cancer at age 23? Tragic.

Someone else on their football team has cancer. It’s possible there is some environmental exposure that contributed, but at that age it’s usually just a result of circumstance and genetics.

But we live in a world full of exposures of toxic substances. People make fun of the Prop 65 labels because “everything causes cancer”…. Well….. that’s kind of the point of the labels. Each exposure adds up.

Sadness for parents and siblings when this happens is so brutal and consuming. Prayers for all of them. 🙏🏼

I’m not saying this young man did this, but vaping is very hazardous on the heart and lungs. Unfortunately many young people are doing it now and because there is no cigarette smoke, many likely inhale more than they realize. If you have friends or family that do it, do what you can to convince them they need to stop. There are young people out there who seemingly appear healthy but have had collapsed lungs from it.

Have to agree as I tried vaping for a few weeks and my lungs felt like they were going to fall out… not enough study has been done on vaping …

I attended the UNC game on Saturday. They did an elaborate video tribute to Craft and had his full family on the field. At the end of the tribute, the PA guy said merely that Craft was "unable to attend the game today." Only after the game did UNC announce Craft had died that morning. The crowd had no idea during the game. A double gut-punch after the team had given up the long TD run, which prevented them from winning the game for Craft.
