Sounds like he's arguing with some HROTers.
I don't remember Clark saying anything about apologizing for her white privilege.
They overplay the " hate her for it" angle, but it's there.
I think there's alot to this argument - just about everything that's had the race card played over it could just as easily (and more logically) be explained by petty jealousy.Mostly they're jealous of her popularity and they employ the race argument because they know a lot of the media is afraid to counter it. You can play it loose and fast with that angle.
"The reason it is still up and running, whether it lost money or not, is because of these Black women ... "
Wow.
But let's not question it, it's "her truth."
Yeah, I think you can expect a certain amount of jealousy in these situations. With women, maybe more, but, whatever. I think most of it was that. Then trying to find some way to validate your feelings to the media.I think there's alot to this argument - just about everything that's had the race card played over it could just as easily (and more logically) be explained by petty jealousy.
To an extent, I think it's not totally dissimilar to when Isaiah froze out MJ in I think his 1st all-star game. Jordan of course could play that game as well and people think that was a reason why Isaiah got left off the Dream Team.
Or the white owners of the teams in the nba....Yeah that was a lie.
It wasn’t black women that built the WNBA it was the primarily black men in the NBA and the male owners of the NBA teams that built and completely subsidize the continued existence of the WNBA. Real talk.
Scott is spot on. Rest of the panel are delusional nitwits.
You aren't very bright are you? The black women on CNN and the WNBA hate the fact that a white women is 1000X more popular then the rest of the WNBA combined. So they resort to the one card they always have in their hand, the race card. If the facts don't support your position, cry racism.Perpetual victims like Jennings and Northern are ruining Caitlin Clark for the rest of us. Jennings gets paid to go on TV and be a victim, Northern lives it.

That is not true, abby…..You guys use #22’s detractors as “the norm” when in fact #22 has far more fans than detractors. “Negative Nellies” always get more attention…….remember Donald Trump? He has made a career out of “negativism”…..You aren't very bright are you? I love how he says, "it'll never be enough". Because he's exactly right.
I don’t think there is nearly as much acrimony in the league toward her as there are people just looking to make money off of her name.
That is a solid astute observation, 3boys. Lots of “talking heads” and internet journalists making a lot of noise concerning #22.All of these people on both sides have learned that talking about CC generates clicks/engagement which generates income for them. I don’t think there is nearly as much acrimony in the league toward her as there are people just looking to make money off of her name.
No, the perpetual victims are the women of the WNBA.Perpetual victims like Jennings and Northern are ruining Caitlin Clark for the rest of us. Jennings gets paid to go on TV and be a victim, Northern lives it.
The truly funny thing is that guy and OP assume Clark is being performative in her statements and she isn’t sincere. And she is being 100% sincere.I don't remember Clark saying anything about apologizing for her white privilege.

And yet you don’t believe her.LOL! With today's college environment, I wouldn't be surprised if she believes 100% of what she said.
"The League of the Year" agrees with you.White fragility is a big problem in this country.
Which is fantastic. Proving a Univeristy of Iowa education still turns out bright, talented, successful adults.LOL! With today's college environment, I wouldn't be surprised if she believes 100% of what she said.
Caitlin Clark has become the new Tim Tebow.
Ya she did recemtly...sort ofI don't remember Clark saying anything about apologizing for her white privilege.
That's not exactly how I meant it, but I can see how you arrived at that...Somewhat, yeah I can see that.
People didn't like him for his religion.
What's worse?
Kneeling down and making the sign of the cross or beating up your girlfriend? Or getting an OWI?
No different than the people on here making fun of religious posters.
Sad times we live in.
That's not exactly how I meant it, but I can see how you arrived at that...
I was just thinking more about clicks and likes etc. She is the hot name right now in sports... all of sports and she's not even in season.
More like to get in you have to have some ability to function. Low bar by Big standards but is a bar.Which is fantastic. Proving a Univeristy of Iowa education still turns out bright, talented, successful adults.

She talked about it - never came close to anything a rational person would call an apology.Ya she did recemtly...sort of
That’s your opinion. But what you and others have said in this thread and in the other threads about her Time interview circles around her comments around white privilege. She talked about it. - I honestly forget if that was unprompted or if she was asked about it. She did NOT apologize for anything however.I don't agree with what she said.
The “apology” was embedded by an interviewer into a question directed to Clark. And Clark actually sidestepped/refuted the premise while still giving the W and former players their flowers. She is remarkably talented at stuff like this. That’s your opinion.
