Sebastian Castro

Agree OP, Castro will fit right in and within a couple years become a fixture.

Castro, Lee, Belton, Campbell, & Hunt are my top 5 freshmen on D.

Sounds like a strong safety, possibly a Cash guy in the future? Hoping he does well, here!

that's a mean lookin mexican..
he's gonna play.

I think he’s the future SS after Geno. I don’t know if I’ve seen a more impressive highlight video than his, dude brings the pain.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see him in the two deeps at the end of the year.

I like him ... a lot! Fast, fast and fast to the ball. Looks like he has great instincts. I think he's going to be a good one. :)

Castro makes fast guys look not fast. Probably one of the most impressive highlight films I’ve seen. Kids a stud.

First time seeing that film......wow. Might be my favorite hawk in that class. How many forced fumbles did he have in that film. Definitely Cash or SS

Highlight reel shows quick decision making and taking good angles, with speed, to the ball. Didn't really blow anyone up, more of a finesse tackler. Looks like the kind of player that would do well on special teams. He demonstrated that the primary purpose on defense is to stop the ball carrier ASAP.

I don't know if there is necessarily a "mold" that automatically produces a high-quality Phil Parker coached safety ... however, being an athletic, tough, smart, former QB is one heck of a place to start.

There's a whole string of starting Iowa safeties who were able to utilize their high football IQ (something likely acquired by being a former QB) ... and have that translate to being the QB of the secondary.

Even in just recent history, Geno Stone, Jake Gervase, and Amani Hooker all share those same characteristics!

Not surprisingly ... like many of you ... I'm very excited about having Sebastian as a Hawk!

Love this kid’s high school highlights. He’s fast, aggressive and hits a ton. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t at least get some playing time on special teams. The kid looks like a future star.

The only issue I see here (1 minute into the highlight) is that his first 7-8 tackles he didn't wrap up, just laid a hit. I'll finish watching later, but in the B1G, he's going to need to wrap up. It's easy enough to fix, though.

A lot of young guys that can contribute. He checks all the box’s. Heck of an opportunity for this young man.

That's a hell of a tape. Glad he's a hawk. I see a little Josey Jewell in the way he diagnoses a play and gets to the ball.
