We seeded our yard 2 or 3 weeks ago and it has taken off much better than I expected. We still have a few spots that haven't grown much and I'm continuing to water it. My concern is how much I should be watering it with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s and 30s this week. Will I mess up if I water some of those spots and then it gets that cool?

Water the hell out of it OP. Just don't fertilize it right now. Mulching the leaves will give your yard all the food it needs.

Yeah, I’m gonna go ahead and disagree. New seed needs fertilizer, small root systems need the extra food, especially phosphorus and potassium (use starter fertilizer for this purpose). And, you’ll need to push the grass along while the weather is still conducive to growth.

Don’t let the grass get long before you mow it. Regular, proper mowing will help new grass spread and thicken.
