He called a BTN basketball game last year (I think it was at Carver), did a fine job. Although I imagine he had to cover several sports along the way up whether he actually enjoyed them or not. A wrestling-only career probably wouldn't sound too fruitful on paper especially when he was starting out. But he's managed to work his way up the ladder where it actually can be his main gig. There wasn't even a BTN when he started, and that's been a huge factor in increased wrestling coverage where there is an opportunity for a wrestling-centric host.

Sparks is one of the better color commentators in the sport of wrestling. He brings a lot of energy and is clearly passionate about the sport.
