Ok granps. No, the “old school” SNL with Chevy Chase, Belushi, Jane Curtain etc was MUCH better than modern day SNL.
Your opinion of Bowen Yang is more favorable than my opinion of Bowen Yang.Bowen Yang is a national treasure.
This retired teacher loves this !!!
OK, BoomerYour opinion of Bowen Yang is more favorable than my opinion of Bowen Yang.
Republican voter, right?Your opinion of Bowen Yang is more favorable than my opinion of Bowen Yang.
Lol. Everything is political with some of you guys. I voted almost exclusively R before Trump. Since 2016 I have voted about 50/50.Republican voter, right?
Carvey seemed to alternate between GHWB and Biden, but he was still pretty funny. Hitting Kamala in the face with his ice cream cone was a nice touch. And as you said, it’s like Rudolph was born to play Kamala. The political impressions this cycle are top notch.
Rudolph sounds exactly like Kamala and Dana Carvey as Biden is hilarious.
I watched that a few times, and I could never figure out if Rudolph ad libbed, Carvey did, or the ice cream bit was scripted. Early on she seemed to lean in a few times, but her reaction at the end seemed to make it seem like Carvey did it on his own?
You are old, Bro. No worries, I don't get stuff sometimes, too, and have to look it up.Lol. Everything is political with some of you guys. I voted almost exclusively R before Trump. Since 2016 I have voted about 50/50.
But that really doesn’t have much to do with my opinion of Bowen Yang. This is something like his 4th season as a full cast member and I think he has made me laugh about 5 times. Many of the characters he plays are pop culture references that simply don’t resonate with me.
Weekend Update is by far my favorite part of the show, including when they’re making fun of Republicans. Outside of Update, Kenan Thompson is probably my favorite cast member. If I was to rank the cast, I’d probably put Yang in the middle third. He’s not bad, just not a “national treasure.”
