So why didn't we shake hands?

At the very end a ND player stole ball from Baer and made it at buzzer. Don't think Fran liked it but I think ND just playing hard until the end. Fran will look back an regret it I think...made a big deal out of very little in my mind.
Final 5 seconds Baer controlled the ball in the backcourt and was holding it to run out the clock. ND took the ball away from him and I think might have even hit that last shot before the horn
Game over, nothing to be accomplished by ripping the ball from Baer's hands and scoring a basket.
Ref waived off the shot. The ref looked a little pissed too.
The half flop didn't help, then Iowa is running out the clock. There's no reason for it on both ends.
The ref waved it off rather animated. He wasn't happy either.
People from North Dakota have filthy hands. True story.
There was also the "T" with Hooker grabbing Bohannon's arm with 30 seconds left.
I'm guessing it was due to some of the Busch League action from them at the end. The T off a flop, fouling with 12 seconds left in a decoded game and stealing the ball in the final second of a decided game.

Basically the same as a defensive lineman hitting the center on a victory formation. There's no rule against hitting the center, but cheap as hell.
Kinda Petty for us not to shake hands at the end.. I know it's a battle during the game and no has to be friends but when it's over slap hands and go about ur business..
Why? There's nothing in the rule book about shaking hands. Better to do than than tell Brian Jones his team are punks.

playing hard is one thing. flopping and playing on the edge of dirty when you're just completely outclassed is another. i think that last move just put him over the top - and i think he also kind of had a 'get the f out of here you loser' attitude to the former iowa staff that he doesn't want to be associated with (just a guess).
With Iowa connections on ND team, not a good move by Fran. Our players were standing out there kind of lost. Iowa assistant Sparrow was trying to calm down Jones on the end. Fran I like him but not smart in my mind.
It went beyond the last play. It started with the crap against JB and the technical. Total BS. They wanted to get dirty in the end and Fran knew it. Good for Fran. Piss off and go home. That play with JB was total BS. The end just cemented it with Fran. I have no issue..... stick up for your kids.
Why shake hands and show fake sportsmanship when you can be real and just leave? Fran did the right thing. Kids can get hurt in those situations.
Hooker is a little pecker head, he was hanging all over jb, then faked the push, then tried shoving jok down. North Dakota was very classless towards the end.
Yeah I thought there were some words going on while this was happening. ND coach is a putz. Fran is a hot head but I still love him.
Than go watch another team. This is the coach we have.
Jones and Horner are accustomed to it, having served under Alford.

After the T you can clearly read the ND coach's lips saying about Bohannon, "f'ing prick."
