Well Iowa is going to be the talk of CBB today I guess, espn, deadspin, etc. I still back Fran, but the rest of the country that aren't fans, and who didn't watch the game, are going to see a hot headed coach. This just cemented it with them. I just wish Iowa was getting attention for playing well with freshmen.

And you can't mention anything about Iowa on another board without someone dragging up 'eye poking Woody'... I guess he got under peoples skin lol.

I'm guessing it was due to some of the Busch League action from them at the end. The T off a flop, fouling with 12 seconds left in a decoded game and stealing the ball in the final second of a decided game.


While I understand the frustration, the skipping of the handshake isn't a good look.

NBD but ND was pretty chippy in the second half. A lot of holding and pushing.

It appeared that Jok took a cheap shot to the nads late in the 2nd half, too.

That's totally uncalled for, and if on replay it shows an intentional act, the kid should be suspended for a few games.

The shot didn't leave the player's hand before the clock expired. Waving the basket off was the correct call.

i thought it was pretty close. can you imagine if the game's end would have been delayed because they needed to verify if that last bucket counted?

AT THE 3 MINUTE MARK, watch a ND player run right over JoBo; it did not look incidental at all. No foul was called either. ND then buried a 3 pointer. I am sure Fran was not happy about this, either.

Looks like they stole the ball from baer at the end when it was over and shot a lay up. Thats what it looked like on why he was pissed.

That's what I saw too. Add to that Geno Crandall (like a bowling ball) running directly at stationary Jordan and knocking him to the floor, no foul called, and the Hooker "hook", more like a hook-grab that forced Jordan to clear space, and the Jordan T. Yeah I can see some frustration by Fran.
