I’ve converted lot of home videos for the Gibbons family for the Pin Doctors YouTube channel… therefore I’ve seen a lot of obscure ISU matches from the 80’s…
If Riggins gets stronger and a bit more confident out there, he would remind me an awful lot of NCAA Champion, Eric Voelker. He’s not there yet, but when I watch him that’s the first wrestler I think of.
Voelker had a ways to go his freshman year too, I’m sure… he never won state in HS..

Riggins has a ways to go. Just straight on shots and buries his head. Too hard to finish that way.
Taken down on his own shot… Twice. Also showed zero ability to scramble.
