Clarinda, you're even admitting that Trump is a complete booger eater on actual border solutions. It's ok to admit that he sucks overall and has no real policies beyond himself. You may not like Harris but at least she's sane. Trump is looking like one of the insane asylums inmates he keeps blathering on about.
These people are funny, last time they fell for the "build a wall and Mexico will pay for it", now they're falling for "deport all of them'". Some people will fall for anything and refuse to look at what really happened.

I agree, we are tribal by biology. Using trans women in women’s sports was a good litmus test for normalcy.
Trump doesn't even have real policy for deportation. When pressed he simply talks about something. And that something else is usually about how great he is. Dude has no real ideas on any issue.
If you think this trans debate is one of the most pressing issues we have, you are definitely not normal.
I don’t think one person will ever destroy the constitution or government, I believe most feel like the border was better under Trump, including the border patrol. Most of the complaints are about his rhetoric(which is rude, at times batshit, and that he’s mean) that has zero to do with policy. Bear Bryant and Woody Hayes were assholes but winners. Just have policy that closes up the border to violent criminals, even if it means some innocent migrants don’t get in, value American citizens over on American, after all the government is supposed to be for our citizens. The SJW issues will almost always win moderate males over to the R side, moderate women to the D side.

It's a fringe issue that impacts very few people that the Republicans act like is the most pressing issue of our time. How many trans women are trying to compete in sports in Clarinda? in Iowa?
Meanwhile the Dems are focused on issues that impact everyone like housing, healthcare, and climate change.
I'm fine with people having different beliefs but that's not what this election is about. It's about decency, and if you can stomach voting for someone like Trump who has zero redeeming qualities then I don't have to claim superiority because you chose to make me superior to you.
So why does Trump run more anti trans ads than ads on the border and the economy combined? Let's be honest. Trump doesn't care about the economy or the border. His nonsense tariff ideas and brazenly stupid border solutions kind of prove this. What Trump really cares about is dividing us so he can play emperor on who gets to survive.
This is baloney as the Republicans are focusing on border security, economy, crime, and overall foreign policy/military strength which impact everyone. While the Dems focus on abortion.
Border security - refused a bipartisan deal to improve.
Economy - is doing well and improving under the current administration
Foreign Policy- Trumps plan is let Putin and Bibi do what they want.
Crime Rate-Most violent crimes are at or below levels seen in 2019, the year prior to the onset of the COVID pandemic and racial justice protests of 2020.

None, but it’s a common sense issue, Dems chose to be on the losing side this election cycle in terms of what most Americans think about who pays for the surgery,T women in sports, etc. Climate change is real, but the Paris accords are bullshit give seats to China and India run business. Housing is definitely an issue, but giving $25k to , not first told home buyers, but first on their family home buyers ****s over the people paying taxes, inflated some home values

I wonder how many other cultural issues in the past "common sense" considered the losing side. Slavery? Women voting? Equal rights? Blacks voting? Gay Marriage?

This whole election and last 8 years has been polarizing. The same people who are crying because they want trans women to have the right to play in women’s sports and want insurance and the state to cover the transition surgery, make fun of pale saying it’s a problem and unfair to women. Those people also minimize the amount of violent criminals that have come in the past 4 years through our border, which we have stats on. The same people don’t that are 💯 convinced that there will be concentration camps if Trump wins. By the same token, people on then right think trans women will take over women’s sports, that guns will be outlawed and white men are being pushed down.
That “bipartisan deal” was a joke…it would let 4,000 to 5,000 immigrants in daily b4 kicking in…it was essentially a plan to try to allow more in, more quickly. The economy is doing “well”?!?…have you bought groceries lately? Foreign policy - you really want Kamala sitting across the table from strong foreign leaders when she can’t function without tele-prompters!
Clarinda was free to decline to share his vote, but he and I get along pretty well on here even though we disagree on many issues. Just to be fair, I disclose that I will be voting for Harris and every other Dem on my ballot.
For the 100th time that border bill was a joke. Even 6 prominent Dems voted it down. It still let too many immigrants in, b4 it kicked in. There was a stronger border deal (HR-2) that had been voted down previously.
