I was impressed with how ISU played the hawks. any fan on here who is being honest with themselves would say that. that was a fun game, well played.
DirectTV didn't have Kansas or Toledo from my recollection. You got sold a bad bill of goods then, because UNI is the only one that hasn't been on.
Sorry OP but the ISU win at Norman was quite impressive,.... No, I am not a Cyclone fan.
Yeah, it did. All the ISU games except UNI have been on.DirectTV didn't have Kansas or Toledo from my recollection.
Man, I looked, couldn't find it. Even did a search.Yeah, it did. All the ISU games except UNI have been on.
I have Direct TV and I recorded all the games except UNI. Honest. I'm not lying to you. I don't know why the search didn't show it; it worked for me. I had to use the search function because I always do, whether it's Iowa or ISU or any other team; there are a lot of options. The various Fox Sports channels, ESPN channels, Big Ten Network in some cases, the over-the-air networks....I recorded the KU game off Channel 635. That's MSG (Madison Square Garden), one of the networks working with Fox Sports on Big XII, Pac-10 and ACC games. But it was on several other channels, too.Man, I looked, couldn't find it. Even did a search.
It was a great win but it appears that Oklahoma plays down to competition they needed 14 points in 4 quarter to beat Baylor.
Trolling.
Remember, this is the Big 10 you are talking about, nobody plays all the best teams. Hell, Iowa only plays 2 maybe 3 of those supposed top teams a year. What a joke. You Clowns win a couple games in a row and suddenly you start thinking you belong. Just stop. Let the season play out then everyone will see what type of team Campbell put together. Then lets see what he can do next year, the year after, the year after that. You guys lose AL, Lanning, and a fifth year walk on at QB that beat OU. Not sure what that says about your program or OU's.
You can talk smack when you have multiple winning seasons in a row then people might take you guys serious. It's frankly embarrassing the number of Clown fans that invade the Hawkeye board after beating OU due to your trap game with them, then beating Kansas, which is downright terrible. Didn't you guys get beat by them last year?
Congrats on your little two game win streak in the B12 as I'm sure you would just roll in the B1G if you had to play the top teams as well as lowly Illinois and Rutgers.
I'll give you two wins with them, then who would you beat? Iowa? Nope, lost this year, three in a row, four out of five, seven out of ten, 10 out of 15. Nebraska? Maybe. Purdue? They give top teams fits. Maryland? No way, they spanked Texas at Texas. Minnesota? Toss up. Indiana? Coin flip here too. NW? They would give you fitz! Now the big boys: tOSU, PSU, Mich, MSU, and Wisky? A big fat no. Call the B1G when the B12 starts playing defense minus OU vs tOSU.

Nope. Neither was Kan & AkrYou got sold a bad bill of goods then, because UNI is the only one that hasn't been on.
Sorry but they weren't on tv out here. Not sure what you want to hear but the truth is we've only had 3 ISU games that were televised nationally. You can always count on the Iowa game to get you national exposure though!I have Direct TV and I recorded all the games except UNI. Honest. I'm not lying to you. No no, I get that. I was saying you were trolling ISU fans to get them angry. I still blame you for starting a bball thread last year that went on for months, and idiotically I let myself get sucked in.Iowa State is average.
Oklahoma is average and has been average for quite some time.
So, an average team beat nother
Why do you think the Big 12 has been left out of 2 of the last 3 College Football playoffs? Because the other 4 Power 5 conferences are better, with better teams?
Oh, 635. I don't have that channel, and I've got the largest Directv package, but don't have that one apparently. It still comes up though, so not sure why the search didn't work. Might be what most on here are referencing too, and thus the picking nits. Both sides should probably understand the others argument in this case, but that probably won't happen. Usually if you go to ESPN, they'll have the game channel listed by the game, they didn't have one on Saturday, thus me having to search after going to all ESPN's, main channels, FS1 and the 665 etc channels.I have Direct TV and I recorded all the games except UNI. Iowa already has 2 losses so it doesn't matter what the win over ISU looks like now. If we are hoping to get into the playoff it might matter but that ship has sailed. Oh yeah, F ISU!!Its comical watching Hawk fans get pissy when ISU has a big win over a top 5 team.
We should want ISU to win. A win makes our win in Ames look better. I dont get the hate for ISU and their football team. ISU has a lot of Iowa kids on the team. I can understand the hate for their delusional fan base, but wishing the team to lose every game is nutty to me.
I was at the KU game. It was miserable until the game actually started and then it cleared up and was almost perfect. Tailgating had to suck balls and that's a huge reason people go to football games. Not to mention it didn't look like it was going to let up. I can't speak to Texas. As soon as they unveiled the new alt. logo I refused to watch and will boycott every game that it's used. The OU win was very impressive. Especially cause IMO OU showed up. OU was up early so not like they were sleepwalking until down by 14 and couldn't make it back. Happy for the team. My issues are with the fan base. They have multiple thousands posts about the PSU game not selling out and then the Texas game on national TV was pretty sad from an optic standpoint and the KU game (after the OU win) was really pathetic. So it was a great win but the program still is far from relevant.

Good luck getting Franisdaman, Herkyfan, RockyMountain, or Kujawa to ever have a rational thought about Iowa State (or anything negative about Iowa) on this message board.
