Had to be similar to Daniel Dennis… I was there and at the Hawk party and asked a few of the guys/coaches one I am especially close with if he was ok and they said they were watching him closely.
After my wrestling season finished, I could be found at the local Bakery.........for quite some time.

You have no clue what he's dealing with right now, nor do I. You have no clue what was discussed regarding him going out there today, nor who made the final decision. I trust those in that room are in a better position to make that call than all the keyboard warriors out there today.
The kid sacrificed his attempt at Gold in the last Olympics for The University of Iowa, let's hope Paris 2024 isn't out of the question at this point. To further risk that opportunity would be foolish.
I hope our guys don't devalue matches just because they aren't part of winning four titles.
Not if there's a new injury that occurred to change the situation (E.G. Munoz tearing his knee during last night's match against Keckeisen).
I understand Spencer does not have healthy knees and I think it's amazing what he has accomplished in spite of that. But, if his health has not changed since prior to the Ramos match, then I think he should have wrestled today. Why are you able to wrestle in the championship bracket but not in the consis?
That's just me and I know many disagree and Spencer sure as heck probably doesn't care what any of us think (and I'm not saying he should).

Threads like this reminded me of 2 things. First, why dog is 'man's best friend'. Second, the response from a 109 year old woman who, when asked what the secret to long life was, responded "Avoiding people". 🙂 Life is too short folks, relax, don't judge, have some empathy, don't feed negativity, and have a sense of humor.

Honestly I don’t think you should be posting this kind of insider stuff. It kind of feels like an invasion of Spencer’s privacy.
It’s not a great look. For those of us not connected, I can honestly share it didn’t feel great. If news comes out later that suggests continued wrestling could have hurt him worse, then all good. If not, it kind of feels not great. But no judgments as of now…

I’m sure it will come out what happened. I know this for sure though, I have 3 young boys and by God’s grace if they have the talent I hope Spencer can coach them one day.

What you’re saying is, (this is just an example) if somebody tears a bicep in the quarterfinals, but hangs on to win, then wrestles injured in the semifinals and gets beat. They should then wrestle in the consolations with the torn bicep because “his health has not changed since the prior match”.

Several others, many ex Hawk wrestlers we reporting th same thing. Push the narrative you like, but it was 100% a real thing in Tulsa. Everyone found out by him strolling in during Cass match. I got sent a picture when they saw him. Cope.
