My kids started freco and strength training now or shortly maybe no wrestling for a while, I'm afraid to ask what they want to do for the summer. I may lose another wrestler or two to soccer and baseball for the summer...whatever. More than likely I'll lose them all to fishing. We live on the river and walleye and big cat at night are the priority of all my boys.
Sounds like my childhood.....fishing minus soccer of course. More multi sport athletes the better in my book. Love me some soccer these days as a parent.

His opponent was not very good. He only had a 50-0 record going into the finals.
IIRC, DeSanto (50 - 0) and was ranked 5th nationally beat Alex Thompson 3 to 1 in SV last year at Super 32. Lost a tough match last year in the pa state finals to Lee's teammate Devin Brown at 113. DeSanto had Brown in trouble a couple of times then lost on a defensive pin. I'm not sure of his college plans as he is a junior. DeSanto is competitive with anyone in the country at 120 not named Spencer Lee.
watching Spencer Lee Mow through the early rounds was fast and furious...45 seconds in one match then 39 seconds in the next one then the 2nd period TF in the Finals over a quality opponent ...Lee's best quote..." i cant wait to wrestle DeSanto....at least he attacks and wants to wrestle me" ......I was impressed that the kid is looking for competition and not just the easy draw.
Lee actually had DeSanto pinned earlier at about the 2:30 mark, but the half was called potentially dangerous. DeSanto is a GREAT wrestler and he went out and actually wrestled Lee, which is saying something.
Regarding the bar arm tilt, does he have the wrist in his other hand? I call it a reinforced bar.
Ps I should be more specific. The wrist that is on the arm being barred. It's basically a cross wrist and then you put an arm bar in.
I have always said SanSouci is either a made up characaature and someone is f-ing with us or the biggest meathead in the world who doesn't give a shit. Either way I Like the guy.
