If Gronowski is a bust, the Hawks are still ok with Stratton and Brown ....Stratton was particularly impressive today....
Found 10 small grays Wednesday in Linn county.
No reason whatsoever.....just the most recent similar experience with Cade makes me nervous ...more to my point, Stratton is a keeper...in my opinion, he's the best looking QB we've had since Nate Stanley....so much reminds me of Ricky Stanzi...
Stratton looked the best , not even close, Sullivan looked like hammered a$$ Today, Brown not much better but at least Sullivan has the Freshman excuse. Stratton I think will win the 2 if the Fall looks like Today.
I didn’t say I didn’t hear of them. If you had asked me to name 5 I wouldn’t have been able to name any of them. When you type their names then yeah I heard of them. I only new the QB was Polish and from SD State. Believe it or not I couldn’t give a damn.
I barely check the football board. I barely post on it. I used to post in the Lounge daily. I don’t remotely care like I did a few years ago. Everyone who knows me knows this.
I have not totally given up on it yet but I do admit I watch more NFL now. And I don't give a crap about college football outside of Iowa. I used to watch all the college teams not anymore
Not sure who RB #25 is, but he looked impressive. Moulton is a stud. TJ Washington is a stud. Jazz runs like he's pissed. I love the RBs.

He isn’t out for the season with a knee injury. I don’t think it is the knee at all. Perhaps ankle surgery ?
True freshman Nathan McNeil I believe. I thought all the running backs looked excellent today. I don’t think I saw Brevin Doll though.

The redshirt freshman defensive linemen were all impressive, as were the portal tackles Pace and Hawthorne. Seth Anderson and Dayton Howard looked good too

Been a bit cold up North. Heard they were having a great spring in southwest Iowa today. Been a bit cool on Northern tier of Ohio, probably two weeks away. Lilacs haven't bloomed yet.
Kirk should get an extension for this - no depth charts. He is cutting edge.
This. I remember when these spring practice threads had some worthwhile stuff.
I remember when there would be people on the board who would attend the spring game, and report back with detailed posts about all their observations and predictions … most of which would turn out to be wrong.
I miss those days.
He was off. But on one 45 yd down the middle he almost kicked it over the net……seriously. I think he will be fine.

If you don’t like my take - then please by all means ignore me. Frankly I am begging for you to go away and ignore me. You are perpetuating a football program that will soon be completely irrelevant. Iowa used to be a program that might one day really compete for a National Championship - now we as fans haven’t ever been further away in the FERENTZ era. They do not even compete against top National talent.
I have been an Iowa football fan for about 50 yrs and I can’t stand what I am seeing.
Not sure what it is you are seeing that you can't stand, but Iowa has averaged over 9 wins in their last 6 full seasons. And were on a 9 regular season win pace in the COVID season
