Wisconsin will not make the same mistake that Mr Narcissistic made. They will not arrogantly keep playing the Hawkeyes straight up thinking they are better... They will send the kitchen sink, like every other opponent we have had, with the exception of OSU. Stacking the box.

So, what happens? What are your thoughts....? I hope we can find some receivers down field for once, on a consistent basis. Fant, Hockenson, Easley, Marsette...anyone.

I do not think we need overly deep throws. Simply let Stanley rifle in some 15-25 yard throws. Quick plays to keep the defense honest. Then toss in some runs. And some play action.

We will see some 8 man fronts. Probably a lot of that. I hope we have it figured out.... And make Whisky pay!! Badly

Go Hawks!

Agree but what is concerning is what is the weather forecast for Saturday? Adverse conditions may make the throwing game difficult which would really hamper us.

Glad Stanley grew up playing in piss poor weather conditions. He will do just fine as long as the offensive line plays well.

He has released the ball much quicker the past two games. Looks much more comfortable in the pocket and able to find his backup receivers. Hopefully Stanley and the receivers will burn them if they stack the box. I think he is going to different audibles as well.

Agree - he was on short drops early and got the ball out quick. Only chance is to either burn WISC because they are stacking and force them to take somebody(ies) out of the box or just keep burning and scoring if they don't. Consistent pass success will open up run, and at that point Iowa can own them IMO.

Poor weather conditions tend to favor the more balanced offense.

The problem here is that Wisconsin has a really good running game. An excellent OL and a stud RB. It is hard to stop their running game ... irrespective of the weather.

Of course, poor weather conditions all tend to favor the HOME team ... so that is another feather in the Badger's cap.

Brian rolled the pocket away from the pressure a lot against Ohio State. However, I agree, when Stanley remained in the pocket ... he was doing a better job of getting the ball out.
