Fortunately, the tornado that touched down in Walton County went through primarily sparsely populated areas with the exception of along 30A.
They were trying to get to their hotel in Davenport and a long section of I-80 was closed. So many people in the comments kept mentioning black ice.

QC suburbs people (Kewanee) told me last night that there might be tornadoes in the area today. One of the chasers will be in Illinois starting at noon.

This channel is like NFL Red Zone for storm chasers. This should be useful later this evening and tonight
Brandon Copic in Perry. The sheriff threatened to arrest him near there during the last hurricane
Sheriff near Monticello just pulled over MWP to tell him that he is a fan. He invited him to stop by the Jefferson County emergency operations center because he is so popular there. It is much calmer there compared to Perry
Chaser on a parking garage rooftop in downtown Trailerhassee. It is very quiet there compared to Perry
