Any early info results? I don't have the patience to use Flow's program with these large brackets

The more I see of Young, the more I am impressed. Has a guy down 9-0 in the third period, the smart play would be to conserve energy and ride him out for the win in a big tourney with a lot of matches. He stays aggressive and plays catch and release. Great motor, nice arsenal of moves...he doesn't get a lot of attention on here but he is going to be good for us.

Heard that Stickley v Thomsen match was great with Alex hitting a sweet shot at the buzzer.

Anyone know where Stickley is going to college?

Also love seeing Young perform. Kemerer , Young and Marinelli is an awesome future line up. Really impressed with Morning*!!!!

Stickley told us he is interested in Iowa and Missouri. Of course Iowa has added two lightweights since then so I'm not sure if that had any effect.

Thomsen wrestling returning NJ state champ in Cray in the quarters...shit's about to get real.

Seemed like Young gets tougher the further he goes along in the tourney...had a close first match, a major, tech, major. Could have a shot at Drew Hughes in the finals...the same Hughes who had his lunch money stole by Marinelli at Carver.

Going to Be a very tough match. Cray is a stud. I didn't like how Thompson didn't pick down vs bianchi. Your going to need that freeby point against high level kids.

He'll learn...might be a hard lesson but he'll learn it.

Iowans in the Quarters:

106-Kyle Biscoglia from Waukee vs #5 Busiello from NY

113-Noah Fye New Hampton vs Cox from NY

120-Thomsen vs #9 Cray from NJ

Adopted Iowans...160 Young vs Trent Hidlay PA

I think that's it for the day for Super 32. Was going to go out for Halloween but those Maryland Uni's scared the bejesus out of me good enough to stay home.

Shit got real for Thomsen in previous round vs Stickley, getting a TD to win in closing seconds. Closer than I expected but it may have been Stickley (it was an SPG kid) that kept it close for most of the match against Spencer Lee at last year's Ironman.

I think that was Eli, no? Anyways, Stickley and Thomsen both wrestled a great match...both of them shooting all the time. No kid named Stickley or with SPG on their singlet are going to be a pushover. My "shit...real" comment was more about rankings.

Two good talents. Thomsen looked the better of the two--was closer on several TD attempts, but Stickley was solid on positioning and scrambled well--and took shots too. Thomsen needed to amp up his urgency and his set-ups by one notch each to break it open a bit more. He's got that slick Dziewa duck and caught Stickley glancing at the clock in the last five seconds. Fun match to watch. Hoping Thomsen gets it done tomorrow.

Iowa have any significant "ins" or ties with other than the Iowa guys and Young I should be watching out for?

Young beats Trent Hidlay 7-3 and is into the semis. He'll get Mike Labriola next who he lost to in the state tournament last year and is ranked behind. Will be a good test. Labriola dropped a very close match to Kemerer at the disney duals this year

Thompsen over Cray 18-5...jeez. Didn't see it but wow.

He looked great. Very aggressive (as always). Probably needs to work on his mat wrestling (top and bottom). He chose the optional release for a bunch of his takedowns. I love his style and his work from his feet though. Really would love for him to be a Hawk.

I know he is young, but any idea what he projects at in college - 133-141?

Probably 141

Thompsen goes down against a staller in SV. Chose neutral again instead of going down - ended up paying for it.
