Iowa may not be the best college football team. They may not even be top 10, although at this point I think they are. BUT, the best team doesn't always win it all. The NCAA tournament has shown that pretty well. The best team has the best shot at winning, but they don't always win. If Iowa goes undefeated and wins the B1G championship game, they deserve to be in the top 4 (and I think they would be in the playoffs). The playoffs were designed to give more teams a chance and Iowa is a perfect case of this. They may not be the best, but this is their chance to win it all without being the best.
Still a long road to go, but man this is fun. Regardless of what happens, this has been a very successful season.
