Heard about it yesterday from a friend of the family and man, if you’re the kind of person that likes a crazy ass story with absolutely train wreck people from the Hellholes of Indiana, you should check this wild AF series. The first season is on Investigation Discovery but the second was picked up by HBO/Max. Episode 1 is kind of slow, but Episode 2 on is just one insane twist after another. I need some of you to watch this and give me your thoughts. Social media is starting to pick it up. I’m not ruining any of it by telling you anything. Just TRUST me on this. CRAZIER. EVERY. EPISODE!

So...where are they streaming?

S2 on HBO Max
What services is S1 available?

EDIT: Or are both seasons on Max?

Is this what the movie Orphan based on?
No, but it sounds like the adoptive parents invented a scenario based on Orphan.

We watched the first season and a half on YouTube TV Investigation Discovery on demand. The adoptive Dad is the biggest can’t-look-away trainwreck since Joe Exotic, and the adoptive Mom should be in prison, and the fallout from this series might make that possible.
Wikipedia says it's the reverse and the adoptive parents got the idea from that movie.

I havn't seen the documentary yet but I know a bit about it.
Yep. This entire series is the worst public relations moment for Indiana since Jared Fogle got raided.

I just finished episode 6 and holy shit this is a heartbreaking story. Really well done show for this genre. The investigative murder porn episode of South Park hits the nail on the head for me so I've watched like all of them.

This is top tier and if season 2 gets nuttier I can't imagine how.

Edit: WTF

On season 2 episode 1. Not sure if this was addressed. But I wonder if the poor girl was not properly potty trained which caused issues from day one with the POS Bennetts and caused her hygiene issues at her first apartment.

Exactly. And her physical abnormalities made it hard for her to get around or even to clean herself.

yep, mrs. a loves her murder channel shows, and as i've been working from home a bit over the last couple of weeks, this has been on in the background, and I've been sitting in my home office saying 'what in the actual..." quite a bit

Brush with greatness: my cousin had a batshit relationship with one of the crazier tiger kings, and asked me to review her agreement to be interviewed for one of the sequels. filed that under 'things you don't want to know about, even in an informal attorney client context'

The way Micheal walked out of the house and threw his shades on - kind of had a mission-accomplished feel to it. The dude was saving his own hide for the civil suit.

Interesting end to season 2.

My prediction is she's ****ing the new adopted Dad in the next season.

That kind of blew the doors off a happy ending. But I am suspicious that they are looking for a season 3 and making this up.

I have a feeling he thought he was going to get us his hands on some money that he didn’t. He’s got some emotional issues. But then again, I don’t trust any clergy. It’s a job for people who don’t want to learn actual skills, or do actual work.

I saw this thread this am and looked it up on Rotten Tomatoes. Didn't see any critics reviews but audience is below 50% on both seasons. It's seriously worth a watch??

Okay, so watched season 1 and the first episode of S2. It is insane. The little person, Fred, who says he has a larger than average unit? Crazy. And the sexting between him and Christine? Yowza. I do have a question about the end of S1 and maybe I missed it. Fred apparently had information on Michael, and when they tried to show it to him, he threatened to break the computer. Did they actually say what it was? I can only assume she said he had some sort of sexual relations with Natalia, but I don't think they actually said it. Is this divulged in S2 or did I truly miss it?
