Lol. Yeah. But seriously, it's just the truth. It's nothing personal. If you want to compete for a B1G Ten championship, you need athletes, especially those who compete on the defensive end.

Indiana shot the ball terrible for most of the game, but got numerous second chance points because they were quicker to loose balls.

It's really not that difficult to understand. But Fran will not change. We've had 10+ years of data to back that up. That's why it's silly for Iowa fans to get worked up.

You might be right. I remember a couple of seasons ago after an embarrassing loss to Nebraska to end the conference season at 10-10, Fran was asked about that being disappointing, and Fran said something to the effect of in the B1G Ten that record is "tremendous."

Agree. With all of this said....do you think fran just doesn't realize it?

Hell even in post game presser he admits should have played bench more.... but yet he still doesn't? So that can't be it. Maybe he just says those things to keep those guys engaged

Fran has classic Old Man Syndrome. I'm an older guy, younger than Fran though...and I readily admit it
is a thing. Guys like Fran often have positive self bias that
they are more successful than they really are....and they are stuck in their ways and not open to change because
what they have done in past works to some extent. Self Bias in reviewing
ones' self is a real thing in psychology. That is why more than 50% of the population will say they are above
average intelligence when that is clearly not possible to be true.

Fran not being willing to taking an honest look inward at how he coaches goes hand in hand with having "YES" men assistant coaches that have to say what he wants to hear to keep their well paid but frustrating jobs. I don't fault Speraw and the bow tie guy for making a lot of dough while having virtually no say on how the team is run during
game situations.

Fran knows Cmac is done after this year to focus on baseball. So he's playing more than normal. Especially with pmac here. They even admitted one of their biggest dreams is to play college bball together.

With jbo ... Jbo threatened to transfer last year I believe. So Fran promised Jbo big minutes especially with his last year with cmac, weezy and luka.

Hell maybe Fran promised Ulis, JT and Perkins its your team next year ... so just suck it up one more year and then its your team haha
