Perkins looked great in his limited time. I don't see how the coaches fail to notice the upgrade when he came in. JT also had good minutes. It's a shame he never got a longer leash with the starters earlier in the year. He makes so many little plays that offset his TO's. I think his TO's would slowly lower with more time earlier in the year and more time with the starters. He played a lot with backups who were still learning where to be.

Did you see the play where Perkins completely forgot about Ayo and it turned into a dunk that made the Sports Center Top 10?

I saw it.

Perkins is going to be a good player, but everyone stop talking about nepotism and using Perkins performance yesterday as an example.

Fran managed this season to Iowa's best winning % since 1987...

And it took the best player in school history for that to happen, the post Luka era is going to be a big wake up call. Connor took a step back from last season, almost as if he was playing another sport spring and summer instead of working on his game.

If you are busting your ass in the summer on basketball and coach's kid is playing baseball and you have to watch him play 30 a game from the bench when he isn't playing great it's a recipe for transfers. Nepotism can be a locker room destroyer and we have at least another season of it in store

I've watched Cmac get blown by all year. So please stop talking about him getting assists playing beside 3 of the best shooters in the country and the national player of the year. His defense, rebounding, and scoring all suck. Of course Perkins and JT are going to make some mistakes. Those would be fewer with more minutes during the year and they both bring way more to the table than the anchor that holds the team back.
