The Washington Post on Wednesday became the second major news outlet to reverse course and admit that emails from the infamous Hunter Biden laptop are authentic — nine months after it obtained them and a year and a half after the New York Post first reported on them.
The paper said two security experts used cryptographic signatures from Google and other technology companies to validate nearly 22,000 emails from 2009 to 2019, including messages related to Hunter Biden’s controversial overseas business dealings.
Some verified emails involved a deal President Biden’s son pursued with the CEFC China Energy conglomerate for which he was paid nearly $5 million, according to the Washington Post.
Other verified emails related to his work for the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, for which Hunter Biden was paid as much as $83,333 or a month, or $1 million a year.
I believe the FBI and other investigative agencies, when they inform me that there was no clear "chain of custody" for the laptop, and damn near ANYTHING on it could never be entered as evidence in any trial, because of that simple fact.
I have been a Twitter user for a long time. Really enjoy the level of information that many of my "follows" provided. I liked being able to control the content that I saw. Over the last few days I have had some folks popping up into my feed that should absolutely not be in my feed. Today, a tweet from Kyle Rittenhouse popped into my feed. He was praising Elon Musk. I have noticed that just about any tweet praising EM somehow ends up in my feed. I despise Rittenhouse and everything he stands for. The Kyle Rittenhouse tweet is the straw that broke the camels back for me. I am going to miss it, but I do have a line and it was crossed enough times that I think Twitter is not worth my time any more. I know CSB.

This list of his week makes a great case for heavily taxing income above a certain level. No one should have that much power.
We as a society, unfortunately, are unwilling and unable to to address our billionaires run amok and the many problems they create.
The Twitter files thing is hilarious. Not that it isn’t an important story, but exposing the “nefarious” nature of a company after grossly overpaying the previous owners isn’t exactly beating them.

I have neither envy or greed for anything regarding Space Karen. I am however very aware and leery of unchecked, consolidated, power.
This is crazy because the exact same happened to me. All of a sudden Rittenhouse tweets were in my timeline. Along with Donald Trump Jr tweets. I had to mute both. Now half of my tweets are of stupid fight videos. Tons of violence and a lot of underage kids fighting. I think their will need an alternative format. Someone can make a lot of money. Can’t be parlor or truth social.
Same here. I get a lot more right wing lunacy than I did prior to Space Karen finalizing the deal to buy Twitter.
Do you have your settings to show the latest tweets first or the "top" tweets first? I find the latter basically unusable. Over half my follows are sports related and I get tweets about games well after the games are over. Even thought all my political type follows are left leaning, I have one friend that likes a lot of right wing stuff so it decides to give me a lot of Ben Shapiro type junk.
Sure seems like a convenient way to disavow the contents. Just use poor chain of custody. Poof no evidence!
What is he lying about? I do know that it appears people like James Woods were being censored at the behest of team Biden. I don’t know what Trumps team got removed, perhaps one of the many threads wishing violence on him, we will have to wait for that. Twitter was doing the bidding for a political party. Deal with it.
Matt Taibbi was loved by the left until he started to question the Russia narrative. A narrative that after reading this thread is alive and well.

Investigated which story? As for the character assassination, he did that on his own with his antics in Russia.

You hope that people like Taibbi are better than that. Makes you wonder how someone that has written so much on crooks and injustice can’t see their own or just knows better and doesn’t care.
