The king of class.....

First of rodman was with the Spurs for 1 of the championships.. but for the first 3 peat the had horce grant who was no pushover a better pg (then Kerr) in bj.. And yes at the end of the day they had Scottie and Michael.. But to act like the Bulls weren't loaded, you know they where.. michael is a great player prolly the greatest of all time, but some of you act like he was untouchable, NIKE did a great job of promoting him as the goat to sell shoes..
Jordan would probably avg 40-45 in today's game.

LeClown is a role model (like it or not) to countless young, impressionable kids. What his comment is telling them is, if things don't go your way, just quit, and don't even try to learn from your mistakes.

Is that what we want kids to learn? Hey, kids. If you're in a sales position, and you lose an account, just quit. You'll never get another one. There's no point in trying to get a bigger account in the future.

I agree, very little class when you mention LeBron.

Lol LeBron spitting some truth here. Bet UNI fans wish Wyatt Lohaus would have quit basketball, never seen anybody so incompotent at inbounding a basketball. And people thought Fran should have recruited him haha
LeBron is on the downside of a less than spectacular career for the self-anointed "King". If Ray Allen doesn't bail the Heat out in game 6 in 2013 all LeBron would have would be one ring. He choked big time against the Celtics in 2010 with a pedestrian 15 points in a 40 point blowout. As for in-bounding the ball, maybe you didn't see Isiah Thomas toss the ball away against the Celtics in 1987 resulting in a dramatic win by Boston and turning the series around. As for Wyatt -- he is a class young man who made a couple of mistakes. He will bounce back and let's hope Iowa is ready for it when the Panthers take on Iowa in the Big 4 Classic.

If..if..if well Ray Allen hit the shot, LeBron turned in an all time performance in one of the greatest NBA games in league history in Game 7 of that series to get his second ring. He's been to five straight Finals, he pushed one of the greatest NBA teams ever to six games with a supporting cast of JR Smith, Matt Delavadova and Timofey Mozgov. He's a top five player all time. In the series LeBron "choked big time" in he had games of 35/7/7, 38/8/7, 22/9/8 and 27/19/10.

Wyatt may be a good dude, but he choked about as hard as I've ever seen anyone choke. He's the Mike Gesell of inbound passing.

Everyone on UNI's team and its Coaches will always have things that LeBrun will
NEVER have.

1) Class
2) A college degreee

Being proud of a degree from a public school in Iowa is like being proud of a resting heart rate of 80 beats per minute. B.A. in Mathematics, University of Iowa, 2012.

How in the heck are you saying Lohous choked? Is it his fault Washpun and Morgan did what they did. What about his 3 to open OT, sure choked on that one.

Wasn't self-anointed, dude. Not reading the rest of the thread to see if that's been pointed out to you already or not. That was the mags, TV, and then Nike. Would you turn down a Nike contract for that?

How has his career been less then spectacular?? He has been to 6 finals. Mvp 4 times . 12 all star games.. Idk how that isn't a great career so far.. He will end up in the top 3 in total points in nba history.. I don't get the hate on the guy.

Did you watch him try to take the ball out at the end of game and throw it to nobody? Not to mention he was 1/7 on the game, they wouldn't even have been in OT if he could simply throw the ball in. And Morgan only had 36/12, it was definitely his fault they lost LOL

Lol...what?

It's a mediocre accomplishment. UNI, ISU, and my alma mater (the University of Iowa) are good public schools. They're (by no strech o') elite. Getting a degree from one of them is not worthy of a chest-beat. It's hard if you didn't pay attention in K-12. Otherwise, even if you were an average-but-literate student growing up, you can at least C your way into a degree in something like psychology. Many people excel at these schools (athletes included). But using "college degree" as a brag is low-rent unless you're talking about a degree from a very competitive undergrad.

Yup agree 100%. The guy is a puke who thinks he is the "King" but actually he is just a POS. I am glad he will never touch Jordan in terms of Championships. Find it kind of funny, he wants to take a pay-cut to play with his buddies (because we all know he can't win a title on his own). The guy is a loser.

This is such a terrible argument. How many rings did Jordan have before Pippen became an All-NBA level talent? How many rings did Bird and Magic win without playing alongside multiple Hall of Famers? How many rings did Jordan win after using a loophole that allowed the Bulls to fill out their roster then sign Jordan for more money than almost every other teams' entire payroll?

He's not Jordan, and that's enough for a lot of people. People doubted his cramp in that one Finals game. Everyone loooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvves the Jordan flu-game story. Jordan was AMAZING. But he had a lot more help in Chicago than LeBron has ever had in Cleveland. And it took Jordan a long time to get there too. LeBron probably has 9-10 years left with the Nazi-science-level sports medicine out there now. If his career is indeed waning (which I doubt), those are unbelievable splits.

As long as he stays in the Eastern Conference he will get to the finals but he's seen his last ring. Individually he puts up stats, not questioning that, Wilt did as well, but Russ got the rings. Maybe if he can talk Melo, D-Wade, and CP3 to play with him, he might get another ring.

Golden State one of the greatest teams ever--Really. They are fun to watch, but they aren't even in the 10 all time.

That puts one of those guys on the bench or LeBron at the 4. I don't think Cleveland is done with their roster. Spurs are old and Pop has to be close to done. Warriors are amazing, but that has to be tough to keep up. Cleveland will have a say in things. It's always easy to take the field, but I'm rooting for a 'ship for Cleveland and it's much more likely in hoops than in football. Their last big win was Major League.

Are you talking about the team that is 64-7 right now?

Technically we're talking about the team that went 67-15 and was one of only five teams since 1972 to have a 10+ ppg margin of victory, a team that then went 64-7 with the same group of guys the following year. By any measure,Golden St's team last year was an all time great squad and yet they are even better this year.

I do think Cleveland will not win a title with their current roster. The LeBron-Love-Irving trio just has not turned into what people expected. Love is way underutilized on offense, I think Cleveland flips him this summer for some additional wing/backcourt depth. The Cavs roster construction never made much sense because they put so many resources into front court guys (Varejao, Mozgov, Thompson, Love) but their best lineup is always going to be with just one of those guys on the court with LeBron at the four. They've got out of the Varejao deal, Mozgov will most likely be gone this summer, but Cleveland's only way to get better is through a trade and Love would be their most appealing trade chip.

All the comments made by people who don't watch/know anything about the NBA are hilarious. You can easily pick out the morons in this thread, & there are quite a few. Go back to talking about college bball & keep your dumbass uninformed opinions on the NBA to yourself.

It's always funny when the college bball fans of the Iowa bball board try and chime in on the NBA. Stick to your college bball that has the charges, technical fouls, point guards dribbling out the clock, etc that you all love so much.

Thread has wandered. Tough finish to the season for UNI. No one feels worse than the players involved, but quitting is not the appropriate response. Facing the media post game took guts.

I dislike Bron Bron, but he is one of the 10 best ever IMO. Same with Golden State as a team. There are not 10 teams that have been better than the current Golden State team.
