I'm not sure how Kirk's lawyer telling the former player's lawyer that Brian and Kirk can be deposed in December is "desperately trying to avoid being questioned under oath".

Isn't the same reason for postponing the depositions in the fall of 2021 the same reason for postponing the depositions in the fall of 2022.? That's not just rhetorical - it is the same reason. Also, why didn't their lawyers demand that they be deposed sometime between February and July 2022? Seems like a good time to do so. No indication that they were making the demand back then. So demanding they be done, now, during the middle of the season is a stunt, pure and simple. Even in a bye week, I'd think a deposition could last for many hours, not to mention all the time needed to get ready. The former player's lawyer knows that.

Not saying it isn't news, it is. There's just sometimes more to the story I'd like to know.
