I mean I’ll give you that your program beats bad teams on a regular basis but in the scheme of things, Iowa hasn’t done ANYTHING. No National Championship, no outright Big-10 Championship, your best years you choke at the end. Iowa football has only been mediocre because every other program they’ve beaten is really bad right now.

Iowa will never accomplish what Ohio State, Michigan, or even what Wisconsin has in the last 20 years.

My comment is that Nebraska will never accomplish what Ohio St Michigan or even what Wisconsin has in the last 20 years either.
They have to go back to the Little 12 to be able to do that.

Nebby pre 2001 was a formidable force, no doubt. The prominent program in all the land. Shit done changed a lot in the last 23 years though.

I'd like to think this is the realization moment for them but many of their fans do this every year and at the start of a new season, they legitimately think their elite just like that again.

I thought they would do better this season but I was wrong. Man, that program is in a constant state of trouble. If Rhule can't even do it, I'm not sure who can really.

I don't agree with this bolded statement. They played in the weakass Big8 & only had to beat Okie to win the conference. KU, K-State, ISU, were always cupcakes. Colorado, OSU & Missouri weren't much better. They've been exposed ever since joining a real conference.

And pre 2001 Notre Dame, USC, Ohio St., Michigan, Miami, Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Pedo St. were bigger programs IMO. Because F&CK Nebby!
