This concept of vulgarity and insult being brilliant? And the intolerance of others? I think one need only look at the lives of Charlie Chaplin and John Lennon.

The brilliance of each of these men is beyond question. And intolerance snuffed much of it out. First, Chaplin, for his left-wing views which in reality were more humanist than political. And then Lennon, caught in a battle to remain in the United States and just at the peak of his best work.

And there are many, many more examples. That's intolerance. Finding this woman to be a bore and insulting? That's just human.
