Sticking with the tone of this thread, Teske upsets Crookham and finishes as an AA.
Hawk or not if teske AA that may be the story of the tourney. He’s gotta tough road
Davis loses before friday night, Nageo loses to Bailey, Woods makes the finals, Rathjen AA's and Kasak does not, Franek makes the semis, Caliendo gets another shot at Mensenbrink in the semis, Kennedy makes the semis, I wish Keckeisen was a Hawkeye, Glazier AAs, Hill has his shot to AA he must beat Elam.
Hoping we get at least one champ at 25 or 41…
I don’t overdo it with the gin and make it through the semis….cuz 4 Hawks are there.
Only 4? Ayala, Woods, Franek, Caliendo, Kennedy all have decent chances of the semis without being intentionally silly for the sake of this thread.
i hope all our guys wrestle to their potential. especially the seniors woods, teske, and franek. i would love to see them all go out on a positive note.
Would folks be happy if every Hawk wrestled two spots above their respective seeds? That would give us two champs and a few mid level AAs. (8, 4, 5)

Is that a bold prediction or are you already hitting the sauce? LOL! Seriously though, while anything is possible I think best case scenario for us non-PSU guys would be over/under 3. Someone’s going to have to really bring it to beat PSU at 57, 74, 97 and HWT. Clearly not sure about 74 due to the injury but he’s the clear favorite if healthy. Just the same, I hope your prediction comes to fruition!!
I don’t think there’s much chance it happens, but on an individual level it would go
125- any number of guys beat him
133- any number of guys beat him
141- Woods or Mendez beat him
149- any number of guys beat him
157- Shapiro turns out to be the real deal
165- OToole beats him
174- not healthy
184- any number of guys beats him
197- wins in this scenario
285- Hendrickson pins him or Bastida beats him
On a case by case basis it’s not much of a stretch other than maybe 157 and 285. So it’s possible although not probable.
I have Teske beating Crookham and meeting Nagao in the quarter
I predict I will be depressed on Monday, no matter how the Hawks do. I'll have to wait until November for college wrestling.

Hawks bring 9 to KC and leave with 10 individual champs.
1 champ and 5 AAs would be good and probably get a team trophy. 2 champs and four AAs with at least 4 semifinalists gets second and is a great tournament for the good guys.
I’m counting on three semi finalists plus two lower AAs if everything goes our way.
6 to the quarters, 3 semis, 1 finalist. 5 AA. And one massive psu blunder somewhere but still runs away with title
