How is it over?

The Chiefs just went to 3 Super Bowls in a row and most of our guys are still young.
Your Oline got dominated, need a total rebuild. PM is past his prime. Kelce doesn’t seem to care anymore. The D gave up 33 points. Buffalo is going to get better and I think the Eagles are the next big thing. I may be wrong but I think your run is over.

Thats pretty fvcking spot on. Getting rid of Taylor is a must. I think the Chiefs need to trade considerably this year for both oline, and my wish would PSU TE Warren if they can get him. Kelce is done. No heart in it anymore. Love him, but I think he has

I'm not sure about Kelce being done. This is going to rub him the wrong way. Plus, he knows his brother just missed a ring retiring one year early.

My secret hope is that Luke Lachey gets a late call in the 5th-ish round. The Penn St. kid is a freak though. Would not be sad to have him.

To each their own. I had to listen to some bone thugs to get that garbage out of my head
I don’t know. I was never a huge bone thugs guy. I think I missed them by about 5 years. I became a big Kendrick fan (albeit super outskirts) in roughly 2011. I see him has a direct connection to the Compton sound that blew my world away. He isn’t nwa but maybe almost (beats, narrative). I’m way more into alt/punk rock but I like knowing (thinking) he is a connection to some of my favorite music.

The O line was injured and had to have different combos all year. I think there are 2 guys that need to be replaced. Humphrey and Thuney were 1st team All-Pro. 2 out of 5 spots in the entire NFL are to Chiefs so no need to redo the whole thing. I moderately think Smith can stay but the other two have to go.

Mahomes had a bad night. No doubting that. He didn't have a great season. I don't think he's lost anything just needs to actually get comfortable with reliable targets who aren't hurt.

Kelce still cares but tonight could be his last night anyway. Noah Grey was highly productive for us this year and I think we will get a guy to replace Travis. His production hasn't been amazing in years. We need someone who will be a red zone target and a great blocker.

The defense killed themselves.
1st TD was a first aided by penalty on 3rd down (7)
2nd TD was a pick 6 (14)
3rd TD was Iowa like with a sweet pick inside the 10 (21)
2nd FG was given up after what would have been 3rd and 26 foul (24)
3rd FG came off of us failing to get a 1st on our own side of the field (27)
Last TD was a bomb that Watson never bumped Smith but everyone sold run (which is crazy because he isn't fast) (34)
Plus 2 more FGs.
Barkley did NOTHING tonight. I was shocked how well we did against the run.

Here's why I don't think it is over:
I'm not going to count out Pat. He still makes a ton happen.

The best players on defense will be back. (Minus Jones... maybe. I would bet on him being a Chief)

The WR room will be figured out... finally. It was a mix and match game all season to find WRs who could walk. It was finally good at the very end but even then... who is on the field when? At what spot?

Pacheco will actually be healthy again and who knows what we do with Kareem Hunt. He costs nothing.

Continuing... the division had 3 teams in the playoffs and the last is still the Raiders. The Chiefs only lost to the Broncos playing 0 starters and the Bills on the road.

The top threats are the Bills (who have a much bigger mess in their secondary with about no depth that nobody wants to talk about) and the Ravens (who shockingly also have problems on defense AND can Lamar win in crunch time of playoff games?)

Bengals have struggled and didn't make the playoffs with Burrow's best year.
Steelers have no offense and still not sure what they will do.
Broncos are still growing on offense but lost some of their edge on defense.
Chargers are us with even more inconsistencies and less winning.
Texans we beat twice.
Miami beats themselves and have huge questions with Tua and Tyreek is a nut.

Plus, we have Andy Reid and only lost 3 games all year while the world thought we played bad in all but 4 games. Which is probably pretty accurate. So if we played THAT BAD and still won all but 3? I'll roll the dice with KC.

Super Bowls are crazy hard to get to. I wish that while we can and should acknowledge the Eagles greatness tonight, the Chiefs can't be looked over by how huge it is to go to 3 in a row or even 7 straight AFC title games.

That’s some great rationale. Well done.

Wasn't really part of the thread during the game but I did not expect that level of ass kicking.

Biggest problem was Chief's OL couldn't block at all.
Super Bowls in the 80s-90s had a lot of blowouts.

We have been spoiled as of late.

As a Vikings fan I really just wanted a good game. It was over before halftime which sucked.

I wasn't sure it was over at halftime because Mahomes even if he would have had to tie Brady's largest ever SB comeback, but when nothing really changed in the 3rd quarter I quickly realized it was over.

They have approximately a quarter of the alphabet and their letter jacket features a different letter?
I wondered what the F stood for as well. Apparently they are the Falcons so the school probably decided if they used the F for Falcons they wouldn't have a bunch of upset small towns.
