Looking back at that play early in the game it might have been better if the ball bounced out and was downed at the 1 yard line. A short punt there would have been our best starting field position and maybe a FG or td. the oddities of football as the kickoff after the safety could have went out of bounds but was booted out of bounds by the hawks

I think they actually make that kick off the teefrom the 20 yard line, if it goes out of bounds I think by rule the ball would be Iowas at about mid-field. huge difference as you said
