Jerry Reinsdorf appears to be in "active discussions", to sell the White Sox.

lol sure, with the group that wants to put a team in Nashville......convenient. JB will see right through it imo and nobody's going to care if the worst team ever leaves. Nobody in Chicago talks about the Cardinals leaving.
I don't think either the Bears or Sox are getting new stadiums. And, I don't think the folks in Nashville are in the mood to pay for a baseball stadium. I've seen reporting that there is little appetite for another publicly funded stadium. My take is Jerry wants to sell the team because he's old.
Interesting bit of information that I learned today, Reinsdorf owns 19 percent of the team, and he bulk of his minority partners have been with him since he bought the team in 1981. The more we learn about this it seems like a bunch of old guys are cashing in their chips.
