I bought a set of Craftsmen at Lowe’s the other day. Agreed, still not the same as Sears.
Floor dimmer switches.
I would expand that to all sorts of mechanical switches, knobs and dials. Everything is on a touchscreen now, and if the computer fails, nothing works.
I just get tired of washing the windshield or turning on the blinker when I intend to dim my lights!
Do they still have a lifetime warranty? That was always the best thing about them.
When people would pay attention to the road when driving, instead of their damn cell phone.
The day Sears sold them, the quality seemed to drop, BUT..... I took a couple ratchets I've had forever to Lowes. The internal gears were ground down and slipping, they looked and shrugged so I grabbed an upgraded set, they didn't bat an eye.
Yep, plus on my Chevy truck the wiper/wash is on the left side of the wheel.
On my Chevy car the wiper/wash is on the right side of the wheel.

Funny, we were just talking about that the other day, along with names for an accelerator, not only gas pedal, but before that, foot feed.
A friend of mine at work was probably in her 30's. One day she argued with me that it was called a "foot feet".
Radio stations that play music and have colorful DJs. WLS in Chicago with Larry Lujack and Steve Dahl for example or Neil Rogers in Miami.
One of the things I love about my Jeep Wrangler is that it doesn’t have a great deal of fancy stuff. Crank windows, knobs to change the A/C settings. If you want to adjust the side mirrors, no electronic buttons…roll down the window & change it with your hand.
Those have definitely not gone away, that is what I wear when not working or sleeping in the summer. That is the one good thing I’ve found about getting to a certain age - I no longer care at all what is in or not or really what my clothes look like. Cargo shorts are great. I hope Eddie Bauer keeps making them!
