This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

@hwk23 Care to offer an explanation?
My first thought is that's really good publicity for Zelensky and this war is mostly about publicity. How hard would it be to organize a rally like that and how many billions will it be worth? It's nothing nefarious just smart. I thought Kherson was supposed to be evacuated in readiness for a Stalingrad like scenerio. Are these people even from Kherson? Plenty of people in Ukraine would be enthusiastic to retake Kherson. I never said there weren't. Ukraine is fully mobilized and half the country couldn't leave if they wanted to.

Ukraine's GDP will fall 30%+ this year. No surprise there. Russian attacks on the civilian infrastructure seem to that raise number higher.
The Ukrainians seem to be figuring out how to live with less electricity.

It's imperative we keep supporting Ukraine during the war and when the rebuilding begins. The Russians have really torn shit up.

Here is the video verified by NBC news as taken on Novemeber 11, 2022. At first glance it has far fewer people than the one on Twitter, like maybe 100-200 people or so and other differences like the flag is missing on top of the building. Also where are the miltary vehicles and personnel in the first video on Twitter? It may be real but I'm skeptical.

Nutter

LOL. Yes I don't believe everything on twitter. That's real tin hat stuff. Earlier someone posted a parade from 2018 shoiwng Russian soldiers carrying rifles from early 1900s and these were supposed to be conscripts going to Ukraine.

Dafuq - this war is mostly about publicity?

Color me (not) shocked....
Let's see if they show the Twitter video on the MSM. The Twitter video, not the one verified by NBC. If not, it's a pretty good indication it was taken at a different time, maybe 2014. Like I said I'm skeptical. That means I might be wrong.

Um...no, thats not a good indication.
Just to clarify for the group - you're assertion is what...? You're sounding a lot like a conspiracy theorist right now, but i dont want to make assumptions.

Not much.. Just that the NBC verified video is from 11/11/22 but the one on Twitter might be a rally from an earlier time. Again I may be wrong. Generally I think it's prudent to be skeptical of any news coming from Ukraine though.

I would expect most civilians who wanted to see Kherson be part of Russia evacuated, while those who wanted to stay in Ukraine remained.
