“Falaise Gap”? Is this one of the three remaining fetishes I have yet to unearth from the seedy parts of the internet?Falaise Gap, anyone?
Any foreign national still in Russia after the announced sanctions incoming a day or two ago, when don't have to be, is not the brightest bulb in the bunch.
Yea it's too bad they can't even do a guerilla style attack on the convoy or block the road somehow even. They did blow up a couple smaller convoys so hopefully they can get this one. The more they mess with Russia's supply lines, the harder it will be for Russia to take and hold Kiev.I think there are 2 possibilities. Ukraine doesn't have the resources or possibly the Russians are taking the cheese so to speak.
Unfortunately I think the former may be more likely but I'm trying to convince myself of the latter. For the latter to work there would have to be a lot of trust in intelligence. The Ukrainians would have had to be disciplined in baiting the Russians and allowing them to think they were lacking resources and this would have assumed risk and losses in order to be convincing. But Russians haven't been willing to commit if you could frustrate the Russians draw them out get them to take the trap then you could land a devastating blow. Might be wishful thinking.
Anyone who needed a govt advisory for this needs to be culled from the herd anyway.
Can the 40 mile Russian convoy be ambushed effectively??
Uses the O2 in the air to create extremely high temps and a massive shock wave. It will suck the air out of the lungs of anyone in range. Very useful against people hiding underground. Like in subway tunnels and such.Great thread, staggering events. Question for anybody with expertise. What the hell is is a “thermobaric” weapon? Supposedly the Russians are working to get these into Kiev, maybe as early as tonight.
Just mess up the 1st mile or two. That would gum it all up.Can the 40 mile Russian convoy be ambushed effectively??

Thanks. Horrific.Uses the O2 in the air to create extremely high temps and a massive shock wave. It will suck the air out of the lungs of anyone in range. Very useful against people hiding underground. Like in subway tunnels and such.

And last mile or two.Just mess up the 1st mile or two. That would gum it all up.
I can't get over the coordination and cooperation of the West.
A Russian version of the fake town in blazing saddles. They are just sitting there out of gas.So the 40 mile long caravan seems real odd. Any chance it’s a big convoy of dudes getting ready to surrender in touch with Ukraine?
If the news about the MiGs is true, the Russians are gonna need to get that stuff moved pretty soon.I think there are 2 possibilities. Ukraine doesn't have the resources or possibly the Russians are taking the cheese so to speak.

Oh like they did in East Germany? That would be lovely. 😉If they take Kyiv and install a puppet government they would have to pay for the rebuilds.
Have to think the MiGs are going to get some nice bombs and missiles on them as well. Take off and go straight into battle. If the news about the MiGs is true, the Russians are gonna need to get that stuff moved pretty soon.
Well there go my spring break plans! 😡
sadly, this thread seems to have jumped the shark.
separately, have you noticed fewer communications from zelensky?
maybe it's been explained already (though i believe i've perused every post in this megathread) but what happened to the warplanes the ukraine airforce already has? i mean why do they already need donated planes on day 4?If the news about the MiGs is true, the Russians are gonna need to get that stuff moved pretty soon.
it's just an advisement. You can still goWell there go my spring break plans! 😡
I know the guy wants to fight for his country but you can't fight if you are dead. I think he should take a evac and keep morale up.Putin’s bread and butter plan.

I wanted to make sure everyone got the message. Figured the wingnuts around here would trust the Brits on this more than Biden. Sort of a public service announcement. See that Senator Johnson?Well there go my spring break plans! 😡
Those 11,000 rubles will be worth about $10 in a week.

Sorry to violate the no politics rule/vibe, but I'm not sure this post counts.
Political crap overtaking reportsWhy?
It’s 3AM in Ukraine.
Very small force to start with. I imagine a lot of it was destroyed on the ground.maybe it's been explained already (though i believe i've perused every post in this megathread) but what happened to the warplanes the ukraine airforce already has? i mean why do they already need donated planes on day 4?
Part of me thinks that has to do with a wide angle lens. Obviously its weird how far away he is, but I think the camera is making it look twice as far as it is.
