The ICC indictment could be a double edged sword. Yes, it could provide incentive for Putin to fight on, but it does make it harder for many of the wobbly Republicans in Congress to fight aid to Ukraine. Putin has been indicted on stealing children, basically. That is hard to defend for anyone but MTG.
Putin doesn't travel much, but this may mean he cannot go to India for the G20 summit. I don't think India is a signatory, but allowing him free passage into India would be an embarrassment.

Turkey seems to be slowly swinging one leg over to have both on the same side of the fence.
Good mention in the article that two ships departed Ukraine for China. Xi does not want inflationary pressure on food in China, or anywhere right now. Russia drug their feet on the latest export agreement, but they don't have much of a alternative right now. I suspect that will be one of their last gasp measures, going heavy after grain exports from Ukraine. If they can, that is.

Wonder if Turkey is using this to put even more pressure on Sweden to jump through some more hoops. They are still ticked about Sweden recognizing the Kurds. 1. Erdogan bungled the earthquake response, and is facing domestic headwinds.
2. His country is autocratic and corrupt, which is why he bungled the earthquake response. He needs a win.
