They are and face great risks in doing so. Thousands are arrested and will have no rights once detained.I am disappointed in the lack of protests and revolt and Russia. I figured this would be the quickest way and most likely way the Russians would stop the War and Ukraine would win. The other hope in that lack of resources will doom the Russians chances, however that is predicated on Russian not sending in a second wave, and honestly I think Putin is digging in his heels.

This disappoints me.
Opening scene to the movie “The Running Man” comes to mind.I am disappointed in the lack of protests and revolt and Russia. Yeah the threat of 20 years in prison will give one pause. I have no ill will towards the Russian people. It’s hard to have protests when mass gatherings aren’t allowed.
I'd hope for a few "own goals" in that scenario.....taking out more outgoing.Only 3 successfully launch. Russian junk
Any confirmation on this reversal?
I believe you are referring to Ukraine’s application being accepted to join the EU? If so, the process takes years. It will have no impact right away.Wow!! I am assuming this is very big news. What exactly does this mean for the Ukraine defense?
The balls on this woman is huge. Good for her but I would have loved to hear the Boris Johnson answer

Hopefully the world has the stomach to intervene to stop more war crimes. Blowing up and killing civilians with no military value is murder. Ukraine is a shining example of what we hope democracies will be in terms of fighting for their existence, and I hope we do not let Putin snuff out its candle.
You’re 12 hours behind. This is now a no-go.

I started a new thread for you Joe
Agree. At this point, the EU and NATO need to rise up and give Russia a 48 (?) hour notice to vacate the Ukraine or face the same destruction that Saddam's forces faced exiting Kuwait. Sanctions are going to take too long and in the meantime innocent people are dying. Don't follow them back into Russia or Belarus for fear of escalation but get them the hell out of Ukraine.NATO NEEDS to take out Russia forces in Ukraine. Simple as that. Don't cross the border into BF-russ or B-f Putin Russia.
Come on folks....if Russia decided to invade Canada on USA border, would you not say the same thing?
Putin is a bully that scares people because he has nukes. Who gives a shit. F. him.
They are and face great risks in doing so. Thousands are arrested and will have no rights once detained.
THIS!The REASON Ukraine is in this mess belongs in this thread. Because we cannot clean the mess up while the Russian propaganda is still infesting our own country.
Newsweek is a zombie publication now that frequently shares misinformation. Just a PSA.Newsweek reporting it too

EU's Ukraine Fighter Jet Promise Falling Apart as Russia Advances
Poland, Bulgaria, and Slovakia have all publicly denied they will send fighter jets to help Ukraine fend off the Russian invasion.www.newsweek.com
Could part of the problem be Ukraine simply doesn't have the pilots and support crew capable of making the MIGs of any use. Poland may not be keen on just essentially throwing planes away. You’re 12 hours behind. This is now a no-go.
"Polish President Andrej Duda said after a press conference with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg: "We are not sending any jets to Ukraine because that would open a military interference in the Ukrainian conflict. i.e. NATO appears to be chickening out.
Very risky to provide these unless they can be used effectively. Need pilots, landing platforms, fuel, and ordinance. They also may be anticipating that they will deploy under NATO in the near future.Newsweek reporting it too
