There is no way we could not turn an oligarch into an agent. But I think Putin is scared to have anyone around him anymore. Jebus, he must feel like Hitler with the walls coming closer to an end. I'm surprised that it has went this far without a military coup.

Russia is trying to colonize Africa and Latin America much like the Chinese. Their selling points are free fertilizer and land development.
It has been mentioned several times in this thread. Belarus was in disarray, and Putin sent in troops to prop up Lukashenko. That country is primed to come apart at the seams. It just needs a nudge.
South Africa says they totally didn’t send Russia munitions. They might have left a South African port and gone to Russia, but it wasn’t a formal arrangement.
