Lost in all of this “must see tv” is current events on the field of battle. You would think that Wagner forces leaving, for instance, might create opportunities for advance. Similarly, as Chechen and regular Orc troops are summoned back into country.
There are surely some chances to exploit the orc preoccupation with the Wagner theatrics.

Hundreds of miles of trenches and probably a million land mines in the ground. Yes, Russia is weakened, and they may be pulling troops back, but if the boys in the trenches stay put Ukraine will not be able to exploit this as easily as people think.

If he knows he's losing the war, and being forced to pull back, I can see him deciding to leave a 100 mile radius around that plant unlivable as a final act of spite. Supposedly operations have been scaled down to a maintenance mode, with very little power output, but, yeah, he might blow it up scattering radioactive material to the wind.

We don't know. It's a mess. Who is in charge? Are they generals acting as military men, or corrupt actors.
The world needs to point a spotlight right now at what's going on, and tell people that there will be accountability. War crimes will be punished.

I am beginning to suspect that Prigozhin worked on this for a week or two. Maybe moving his men, but certainly forming alliances with regional military leaders. This is moving too fast, and in an organized fashion to have been done on the fly.

Actually, he seems much more rational and pragmatic, in a mob boss sort of way. He certainly doesn't have Putin's single-minded obsession with Ukraine.

I would imagine Prigozhin would immediately take steps to end the war to end sanctions while simultaneously enriching himself as much as possible. I'm surprised he hasn't already called for Russian troops to withdraw to the 1991 borders and support him. I suppose he wants to keep them there fully engaged to prevent any from supporting Putin.

Seems like this is almost a done deal. No actual fighting. All the police and Rosguardia units are either joining him or just staying out of the way.
