This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

Is that before or after the Biden administration encouraged Zelensky to flee Ukraine in the opening day of the war and surrender to Russia?

Biden didn’t make any correct decisions the decision to support Ukraine was forced upon him by Zelensky and the EU.

Revisionist history is always the best.
You are not a bright individual

I read where Prigozhan stated that he has 25,000 mercenaries under his command. Is that really true? How is his whole operation funded?
1. Russia pays them.
2. Russia allows Wagner to effectively loot the countries they go into of natural resources like gold, gemstones, and other mineral / carbon resources, which are effectively laundered through Russia. Everyone gets a cut.

Although this might now be the case, maybe a former hotdog vendor may not be the greatest person making strategic decisions on the battlefield, for the entire army.

You need to understand, though, that a "hot dog vendor" in Moscow is really a mini-mob boss in the works. You don't run a chain of hot-dog stands w/o strong-arming your competition into submission via killings and threats, in Moscow.

Prigozhin was a Russian mafia guy from the get-go, and latched on to Putin to really rocket up the ranks.

He's no military genius, just another mob boss who coat-tailed on with the Big Boss.

Yep guy on MSNBC said may have been offered asylum to stand down
Interesting, all doesn’t make a ton of sense…so he spent months planning this thing to stand down and exile to Belarus….

UNLESS, as others said….he’s going to take over Belarus, but that is strange too since Lukashenko orchestrated the whole deal.

Who knows, time to just throw my hands up and forget about it.

He may fall down some stairs in Belarus soon.

Maybe Lukashenko "orchestrated" this to save his own ass, since he hasn't entered the Ukraine fray despite Putin's bidding for months now.

Lukashenko gets to live; Prigozhin gets to run Belarus and get them to start another front against Ukraine.

Did Prigozhin doublecross his own army?

Not a surprise to anyone here that we are giving Ukraine too little, too slowly to be able to push Russia out on our timeline.

Imagine what the leaders of the US/NATO militaries would demand in terms of armored formations and airpower bombardment before they would launch an offensive against the entrenched Russian forces, and you realize how unrealistic our expectations really are for them to break through to the sea with just a few dozen or a hundred modern tanks and no air superiority.

If Prigozhin, and any significant portion of his soldiers are heading to Belarus this is a huge win. They've been effective on the battlefield.

I’m all for the chaos this is creating within Russia but Prigozhin is in this for himself. His goals aren’t 💯 aligned with the rank and file of Wagner or other similar troops. He’s an ogre that brings zero long term benefit to Europe or Russia. His usefulness has a shelf life and the sooner Russia is rid of people like him, the better off they are.

Give him credit, he seems to have been pretty good at pretending to be an everyman leader to the rank and file of Wagner, even as he was getting them killed by the thousands.
