"Ukraine attacks Russian Smolensk region: No casualties reported"
IMO this allows other nations to think, if Ukraine isn't taking this situation that seriously, should we? I don't understand it either. Just because you draft some younger men (and women?) doesn't mean you have to draft all or even most of them.As a follow on...I really don't understand Ukraines reluctance to lower conscription age to 18.
All hands on deck...they have a severe manpower shortage.
Ever since control of the House was transferred to the GOP aid has been bottled up, and Russian misinformation has become acceptable. The people celebrating yesterday were the ones who lacked the courage to stand up to the loudest, dumbest voices. The point is for over a year Gershkovich (An employee of Rupert Murdoch, which has been rarely mentioned on Fox), has languished in prison on sham charges. Other Americans are being held prisoner on sham charges. As Western supplied weapons were expended the lack of replenishment allowed Russia to recover on the battlefield. That's the point. Valuable time was lost when we all knew who Russia and Putin were in the immortal words of Denny Green.

Does the Ukrainian bargaining position strengthen, or weaken by year’s end? This.
Apparently it's a political thing. Zelensky would do it but there's huge opposition in their parliament.
They barely could get the conscription age down to 25.
The average age of the Ukrainian soldiers is 43...that's insane. Those guys are getting worn the F out.

If Russia's expected offensive this spring/summer is stonewalled I think it's strengthened.Does the Ukrainian bargaining position strengthen, or weaken by year’s end?
Putin certainly has a reputation for trying to kill people that fail to carry out his orders.Stop trying to cheer me up!![]()
One source says the US warned Russia against further attacks on Ukraine's infrastructure. When Russia ignored the warning, Biden is said to have approved the ATACMS,
Airfield support equipment… I hope that means stuff that is related to F-16 deployment.
@binsfeldcyhawk2 I assume you are familiar with the Paveway system. The dangly thing on the nose is for guidance, right? Why is it all dangly? That doesn’t seem aerodynamic."Ukraine attacks Russian Smolensk region: No casualties reported"

And a more normal timeline.
"17 April 2023: sighted in the station of #Brno ( #CzechRepublic ) an Italian military railway convoy (probably the one that left Udine on 15 April) with around 20 M109L Oto-Melara 155mm self-propelled artillery howitzers directed to #Ukraine . Recall that #Italy will donate ~ 70."
