Well look at that. Andriy Derkach, the Ukrainian ex-MP who helped Trump and Giuliani pressure Ukraine to smear Biden, and was sanctioned by the US for being “an active Russian agent” working to interfere with the 2020 election — all of which which he denied being/doing — has surfaced in Russia with Russian citizenship and is now seeking political office.

Japan is going to send them to the US so we can send ours to Ukraine.

“By providing Japanese-made PAC-3 missiles to the United States, Japan can indirectly assist Ukraine with much-needed air-defense systems, but without provoking a public backlash,” Brown told Stars and Stripes by email Wednesday. The deal marks the first time a Japanese-manufactured weapon will be transferred back to the licensee since Tokyo revised its guidelines on weapons transfers to other countries, an agency official said by phone Tuesday.

It’s good to have friends and allies.

I can’t link it, but I read a great article the other day about Ukraine hunting Russians down to the single soldier, 2-3 cluster, and squad level by cell traffic. It makes some of the videos of a drone hitting a single soldier understandable. The bulk of the article was about how degraded Russian comms are, how poor the command and control is, and how Russian soldiers are filling the gaps with cell phones to get supplies and orders, but also practicing poor security.
Sadly the article ended with a US officer speaking on condition of anonymity saying we’d lose a lot of soldiers in a big war against a capable enemy due to poor cell phone security.

I don't understand why they would do this unless it is some sort of protest or wanting people back home to know what is really going on.
